Liberate Counselling Collective (LCC) offers affordable online counselling* with an intersectional feminist, narrative and somatic approach.

In our collective and sessions, we engage with feminist and anti-oppressive values, and prioritize curiosity, inclusion, and non-judgement by taking on the therapist’s role as a co-researcher.

*LCC adopts a pay-what-you-can model between $80 - 140 + tax per 50-55-minute session, received by e-transfer.

Why we do this >>

 

We believe in making therapy accessible by way of affordability. It is a practice that aligns with our social justice, anti-oppressive, and feminist values.

Our therapy work supports problem experiences such as grief, trauma, body image, anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem, and any other experiences that may have gotten in your way to feel liberated. While doing so, we acknowledge the social and cultural context in which we live, because we see you and your intersectional backgrounds and experiences.

Our therapists participate in monthly supervision and meet as a collective frequently to support each other and make learning and improving fun.

Liberate Counselling Collective is a collaborative space that supports our work in providing low-cost counselling as well as our individual private practices with particular focuses.

Our therapists come from a range of backgrounds, expertise, and have different designations (this is particularly important if you have extended health benefits. Be sure to check which type(s) of practitioners your insurance covers, e.g. Registered Counsellors or Registered Psychologists).
