2 year anniversary!

Liberate Counselling Collective (LCC) has just had our two-year anniversary and we won't be here without your trust and support. We're grateful we get to do this work alongside you.

LCC may be different from other counselling agencies in that we are not only a small team, but we're a collective through and through: each therapist has huge undertakings outside of the Collective while contributing to it, and the Collective loves and supports that.

The therapists continuously commit to LCC because we believe in affordable and quality care.

LCC also fills a unique gap on the provincial, if not national, counselling landscape in that we are one of the only collectives that offers Intersectional Feminist Narrative Therapy with somatic modalities and varying specialties among the therapists, all of whom have had master's level of training in psychotherapy and more.

After establishing at the start of the pandemic in 2020, we are thrilled that we are continuously growing with all of you.

With that, LCC is happy to share some new offerings:

  • Longer sessions (75 minutes) at $80 - $140

  • Our therapist Deidre has moved to Newfoundland (🎉) and will be open to working with folks based there. If the time difference doesn't bother you, BC-based folks will also be able to continue to work with her

Again, LCC values and respects our therapists as they, just like everyone else, go through different phases of life and varying levels of capacity. Not every therapist offers the longer and relationship sessions at all times.

If you have any questions, just ask Admin at hello@liberatecounsellingcollective.com! If you've been working with a LCC therapist, feel free to ask them directly.

That's all from us for now. We appreciate your time and interest. Most importantly, let us know if you have any curiosities or feedback for us. We appreciate them. We appreciate you!
